A Mother’s Prayer
I wrote this prayer a decade ago as a mother of one. It was the cry of my heart then and it remains so today. I long to be a mother whose humble life in the diaper pail points my children to Jesus.
A Mother’s Prayer
As the sun beckons
a new day to start,
Lord; draw me near
to Your loving heart.
Grant me grace so I might be
A mother impacting eternity.
May all I say and all I do
Turn my child’s heart toward You,
So when this busy day is done,
My child will have seen
A glimpse of your Son.
